I'm no fan of earbuds, nothing fits my ears unless i was to combine swimmers wax and a cheap set of buds i'm outta luck. I could only imagine th headphones needed for a vacuum would have to be noise canceling, either way i think its a failure of an idea, not sure why so many people are reporting (myself included) on its existence :) LOL I’m usually the get off my lawn type guy around here… no fair horning in on my turf!

To the concept of a headphone adapter on the mp3-capable vacuum cleaner: The level at which you would have to set your headphones in order to be heard over the din of the vacuum would be so loud as to be damaging to your hearing. Not that I think putting speakers on the thing would be any better, but at least you wouldn't be firing ungodly loud sounds DIRECTLY into your ears. Earbuds are the worst.
