Personally, I'm perfectly happy with the picture I get on my old-fashioned 24 inch CRT television. I was appalled when the government caved to the electronics lobby and is now forcing us to go to digital because "everyone else is doing it". Now I have to either subscribe to an expensive cable service, buy a Hi-Def TV or a converter box. Even though the Uncle Sam is generously offering a $40 coupon to “pay” the cost, most stores have doubled the price so your coupon is almost worthless. Besides, why should I event have to buy it? I don't watch much TV, except for news and one or two show, so why should I have to buy expensive equipment I don't want to need? I really don’t care to see every pore and wrinkle in my favorite news anchors face. Regular TV was good enough for my grandma; it’s good enough for me.
