As a site that makes its living off of human connections The CaffiNation is a meeting ground for many different cultures. And we here at the CaffiNation would like to express our deepest sympathies for those who lost loved ones and suffered at the hands of this horrendous event.
I have made no bones about my dislike for the 30 second sound byte, the news media and their treatment of catastrophe in the past. I had seen the aerial footage on most channels as they quickly move on to other news and fluff pieces. But the devastation that hit Japan is mind numbing.
