All The Craic and none of the problems

So a belated Happy St Patty’s Day to all of you who either are, wish to be, or are willing to pretend for a day to Be Irish. Its been a fun day so far with lots of good Craic to follow the tons of cruft we usually do. Now For Truely good Craic you need to see a CraicHead, Jimmy CraicHeadTV would be the place to get it. I borrowed the title from Jimmy for this show, You should check out the original, He’s a Philly based video blogger who loves dogs, sailing and of course good craic.

All craics aside, today’s show is full of crazy awesome tech, and slowed by a crazy twitter / internet outage. So the live show might end up not being live at all. Its an HTTP Error Silly

This week has been one long error. From the moment I step foot in the door at work until my head hits the pillow at night I’ve been beset by projects and delays. One fantastic thing did happen, we heard the heartbeat of CaffiNation 2.0 Rev 2 on Tuesday, so no week can be entirely bad with that happening.

I have to-do lists nested inside my to-do lists both at work and home, so its really no surprise that I’ve been living off coffee something fierce. Fearing a recursion mistake or a syntax error I’ve been hitting the java hard, and often. I can see time right now. Just had to share.

I’m focusing on putting more content on the blog as a whole, updates daily and one off fun news and design stories all week long. Its like a to go portion of my special brand of crazy. However for the random bits of detris and the slightly off color remarks caffination.tumblr.com will still hold sway.

A wise lady once said “How about getting some sleep?” Actually two very wise ladies said this, My Mother said ti first and my wife has said it more often of late. Eventually not sleeping at all catches up to you, which is what happened last night. So Tonight i get to drop a fun episode onto your ears a day late. Right now my cowboy hat has a fish in it… Where did everything go wrong? It started with playing ball in the house, but thats a story for another time. We’re rapidly approaching crunch time here at the Lair and the clock is winding down quite quickly. This pre-prepped episode is what i planned to do for the show if it works out then long term i’ll be more free to produce the type of show’s i like without having to worry about staying up till all hours.

So things have been a bit crazier than usual of late. Semester is in full swing and the long weekend meant lots of fun with the family and work on the Lair. I love doing demolition work, give me something and tell me to wreck it and I’m a happy guy. The problem with owning a house is that its also your job to build it back up again. So several projects started and a ton of energy expended. At the end of the day i’m left with a big pile of junk I happily destroyed and a swath of destruction which now begs to be fixed.

But neither here nor there, a thousand pardons for missing the past show but as you hear our weekend i hope you understand. We are gearing up for PodCamp Philly at work and lots of stuff is in motion. At the lair, or whats left of it we have a new resident in the lair itself. Iggy now lives next to the podstation so down here the studio the studio is teaming with life.

I have been put through the wringer the past week, my sleep and caffeine schedules are on opposite waves.
