Setting Up a home theater? Well one of the biggest expenditures you will encounter during the initial setup is the cables, if you listen to the people in the Big Box Stores. Trst me when i tell you you are so much better buying the cheaper version. In the past gold connectors, gas injected cables, shielding ect have all played huge marketing roles in getting people to spend more money than they needed to. HDMI cables are Data cables, they trade in ones and zeros, they couldn’t deliver a degraded signal if they tried. They either work… or they don’t.
