This is the first in a series of articles focusing on trying to get by with a little less.

In a time flush with horror stories of job loss and debt it would be ridiculous to think that if something breaks or is a bit old we would just mindlessly push off to buy another one. Computers are expensive, software products shouldn’t be disposable, neither should technology. Its with all of this in mind that we start a new series of articles here at the podcast aiming on getting by with less funding. One of the biggest problems I see people grapple with when trying to print photographs and graphics out on their color inkjet printers is that the finished product doesn’t always come out the way you expect it to. I spend a good deal of my time in my day job helping people fix their wonky documents and get the best possible result when trying to showcase their work in printed form. Consider this a Public service announcement, and a thread starter.

You all should know these things but sometimes they are better off written, read aloud, and repeated. I’ve codified three basic rules you should follow when posting online, if you value a harmonious existence. And despite what you may think not all people do. It takes courage to be divisive, to polarize or to pick a side. And more often than not standing by those guns will win you both favor with some and loose the respect of others. Some people can not take advice nor information from people who think differently than they do.
