Soldiers give up a lot to defend their country but does it have to be coffee? I think not. These fine Canadien troops have put together a wonderful little vinette into the life of a soldier and how they satisfy their need for coffee while in the field. There are no taste tests, no single varietal beans. This is coffee as a utility not a commodity.
I’d heard from different people who have told me the instant coffee and MRE Hot pack solution is the way to go for quick and toasty coffee. Their choice of weapon is a pack of Starbucks VIA, mainly because fo the single serving size, and who am I to argue? Gentleman well done, and the production Quality is mighty fine as well!
And remember nothing messes up coffee like insurgents… Stay safe guys
Its been a crazy couple of days here at the CaffiNation Lair.
