Gadgets are small little baubles that make eyes light up and wallets open, a selection of small links with big fun is what is in store for today. Tight economic times call for frugal spending, but who couldn’t resits just one more shiny object.

Every show we focus on ways to save you money, in this case we are outing the plain silly products, while focusing on some winners along the way. I also give a quick rundown on how to streamline your writing for the web, make a new version of an old favorite hot toddy, and showcase a couple fun DIY projects.

Our Family Motto: Go Big or Go Home

That is what this recipe is all about, a big taste coupled with extra strong coffee. A dash of cinnamon to offset the sweetness of the drink and you have yourself a great drink

I’m not a big fan of the American version of the traditional Irish Coffee which uses heavy whipping cream to top the drink, its too heavy on my stomach. Nor do I enjoy the plain old Irish Cream and coffee that less than discerning restaurants serve. I’m looking at you Olive Garden, but seriously who would trust and Italian Restaurant to make an Irish drink correctly. I changed the recipe to suite my own needs and those of people who like a little more kick to their coffee.

Today, instead of good old fashion Irish Whiskey we will be using a blended Scotch Whiskey because I’m Scotch Irish, and enjoy the flavor. Read the rest of this entry »

Green isn’t only about being ecologically minded these days, its also about celebrating  St Patrick’s Day, Celebrating to coming of Spring in the northern hemisphere and hopefully trying to save some cash while you’re doing all of the above. I have a list of awesome website with hilarious and intriguing content we’re going to go over.

What would a Caffination pre St Patty’s day episode be without an Irish Coffee Recipe and explanation. I’ll be putting my own derivation of the Irish coffee recipe out later later this week. Not too much different but I found it tastes a bit better. To top it off we have a metric ton of other content to fill your ears and spice up your dreams. No one i know can afford half of the outlandish gadgets and gizmos i see online, buts its always free to point, laugh or dream isn’t it?
