This show is dedicated to my wife who is celebrating her birthday today, she more than anyone is responsible for the success of this show. Not by downloading, editing audio or promoting it, but rather by supporting me and my crazy hobby. I am a very lucky geek. I love her dearly and can’t wait to share .

The three tons of crazy has continued to pile up here at the lair as we are living in smaller and smaller sections of the house all while I attempt to put this mess back together. So things have been a bit crazier than usual of late. Semester is in full swing and the long weekend meant lots of fun with the family and work on the Lair. I love doing demolition work, give me something and tell me to wreck it and I’m a happy guy. The problem with owning a house is that its also your job to build it back up again. So several projects started and a ton of energy expended. At the end of the day i’m left with a big pile of junk I happily destroyed and a swath of destruction which now begs to be fixed.

But neither here nor there, a thousand pardons for missing the past show but as you hear our weekend i hope you understand. We are gearing up for PodCamp Philly at work and lots of stuff is in motion. At the lair, or whats left of it we have a new resident in the lair itself. Iggy now lives next to the podstation so down here the studio the studio is teaming with life.

So I sit here looking for a bit more energy this being the first week back to work and a heavy workload to boot. I honestly should be asleep planning lab implementation strategies or something but I wanted to bring this episode to you fine listeners out there.

We are hitting the coffee trail hard this week with a couple neat product reviews and better videos coming down the pike. Tonight’s show is laden with LEGO, no matter how you pluralize it. I have been put through the wringer the past week, my sleep and caffeine schedules are on opposite waves. So I’m trying to break the cycle and bring the noise and the funk back to you. there are a couple of tangential stories woven into the podcast but for once i took control of myself and reigned them in forbefore they blew the time out of the water.

Today was supposed to be a live show with some new concepts being put forth. I’m still toying with the idea of doing video, I’m just not sure how to incorporate it into the stream around here. Its never good when the IT Guy, the Computer Guru has to spend hours trying to fix his own machines. So this podcast was the fallback position after the live show didn’t pan out.

There are a ton of great stories and blurbs that made it into tonight’s show, and I’m thinking that we are going to reschedule the other special events after I have had some dry runs with the technology involved.

That being said the Adopt a NewB day still needs some tweaking. I have Ideas and it might extend beyond a holiday, but I’m asking all of you. What do you think of the concept?

There is just so much awesome news to spread around, times like these make you wish you could pause the internet to even the content out over the course of a year.
