The dreaded daycare sweep is running through our house right now in various stages with each person. But when it gets right down to it the show must go on. There is a ton of news building up and we have swept through for only the best and brightest content. While typing may be hard with my stump of a hand, the news has been nothing if not fantastic.
I wanted to tank everyone for all their well wishes, at this point the injury is more irritating than anything else. I’ve been though this process so many times, that while painful its rarely different.

Considering how clumsy I used to be I guess its a miracle that i have gone this long without any serious incidents. I hurt myself in work today doing something very inane, but when you have a condition like mine, normal is a relative term. So please excuse the lack of my normal prose filled intro and beautifully constructed reviews. With one hand in a cast bent at an odd angle typing this was a feat in and of itself.

Hello all and welcome to episode 300 of the venerable CaffiNation Podcast. Tonight i decided to mix some things up to give you a taste of history a bit of geeky news and then a look back at some of the highlights you may have not seen. We also announce the contest for the 3 in 3 event. 300 episodes in 3 years… January 9th 2006, i uttered those now, still not really all that famous words. “Hi and welcome to the CaffiNation podcast” Three years and three hundred episodes later we’re still going strong things have changed a bit, hosts have moved and the archives grow fat with their bounty of entertainment.
I truly love giving this show to you each week and I only ever ask that you enjoy the content and if the mood strikes you drop me a line in return. I love connecting with listeners.
Before this tangent runs on too long I’ll just simply say. Thank you once agin for all the attention that has been paid and the feedback that has been given.

This episode is a product of the November let down. With all of the stuff and build upon at the beginning of the month and the end of last things are finally settling into the familiar fall pace. So I go an throw that for a wack by trying the Novel Writing, my hands hurt, my brain is fried and I’ve never felt more on point. Exercise for the mind is truely helping everything but my spelling, which is still quite horrid. This episode gives you a sampling of the best in all of our usualy neighborhoods of content. Back to a sense of normalcy around here, so naturally some changes are brewing. For NaNoWriMo, national novel writing month, I’m going to be releasing a new podcast as a form of first draft audio book. We’ll see how it goes. Looking for feedback on it and the first chapter should go live this week. In other news I have been working on a new logo for the CaffiNation Podcast and i think we have a winner, as it should be the album art for today’s show, and most shows going forward. Not changing the site too much yet but i’m looking for feedback here as well.

Every Fall i get the same problem afflicting my vocal cords. The true problem is that coffee, my lifeline, my love makes the problem worse. So I end up being cranky and undercaffeinated. Tea is all well and good but its missing something for me, perhaps its just not viscus enough?
