This show is a bit of everything and i really felt like we did in fact seize the night. A great crew of people assembled to listen and comment in on the taping as well as host of wonderful tech and caffeinated goodies played a fun part as well.

Live show, New Show!

Yesterday we passed our 4 year anniversary of going live to hard-drive. its been a fun ride so far, and tom commemorate the occasion i decided to start another podcast. Check out CruftCast.com for a video take on things. still getting a handle on workflow and its only going to get better. Think of this as the soft launch. I’m not done the site yet but needed to start doing content to get thingas going or It might never get off the ground.

This wednesday we will be switching to 11 pm eastern for the forseable  future for the live shows, it has been too hard to try and get everything done and this face ready for TV by 10. 3 coats of shalack just won’t work.

On today’s show we touch on some CES tomfoolery, awesome robotic hyjinks and even better food and caffeinated gadgets. Can anyone explain how google chrome has such a bad spell checker? When i can search for Google with my misspelling and they know what I Really meant to type?

A lot of fun and spooky things happen around the lair this week, first of all the Phillies are in the World Series, for the second year in a row if that doesn’t scare people I don’t know what will. Other than that we’ve been trying to be as productive as possible reading the ton of content flowing out of the net to cull only the most awesome stories for our show.

I have to tell you being that Halloween is one of my all time favorite holidays it has been killing me these past couple of years to not put good effort into costume or decor, Next year that needs to change.

Right now my cowboy hat has a fish in it… Where did everything go wrong? It started with playing ball in the house, but thats a story for another time. We’re rapidly approaching crunch time here at the Lair and the clock is winding down quite quickly. This pre-prepped episode is what i planned to do for the show if it works out then long term i’ll be more free to produce the type of show’s i like without having to worry about staying up till all hours.

It seems that my entry into the BotJunkie Collective Noun contest was one of the three finalist. I shall vigorously defend my collective noun as the one true choice. A rossum of robots was chosen for its alliterative possibilities, and its historical context.

Today’s show has a ton of great content stretching from Russian UFO’s to Green tech in Fed Ex. We cover a nifty product sent into the podcast to review as well as a couple other finer articles and points in caffeinated living. Some shows are fueled by caffeine, some only scrape their way out the door because of it. This show is one of those. After taking some time off to start the recovery process we’re back in the saddle with a ton of fun stories gleaned from over the past week of waiting.
