I have some fun stats to share on the show, The CaffiNation has been growing steadily and is only going to get better from here. And I have each one of you to thank, each person who downloaded the show even once, who participated in the contests, the fun, the hijinks, an the caffeine.
Tonight was the first show in years I have been nervous about doing. And that is a good thing. We might change a couple of things going forward, and keep a couple of other things. Hello all and welcome to episode 300 of the venerable CaffiNation Podcast. Tonight i decided to mix some things up to give you a taste of history a bit of geeky news and then a look back at some of the highlights you may have not seen. We also announce the contest for the 3 in 3 event. 300 episodes in 3 years… January 9th 2006, i uttered those now, still not really all that famous words. “Hi and welcome to the CaffiNation podcast” Three years and three hundred episodes later we’re still going strong things have changed a bit, hosts have moved and the archives grow fat with their bounty of entertainment.
I truly love giving this show to you each week and I only ever ask that you enjoy the content and if the mood strikes you drop me a line in return. I love connecting with listeners.
Before this tangent runs on too long I’ll just simply say. Thank you once agin for all the attention that has been paid and the feedback that has been given.

A show in honor of Legos. I love the idea behind the lego concept. Make anything out of small simple parts. The mindstorms are a boon for inventors everywhere but it doesn’t end there. These iconic childs toys are loved by people everywhere young and old. I have been inundated with lego stories lately so i decided to dedicate as much of a show as i could to the topic. I was stunned by the response and believe me the stories won’t stop here. There is enough other content on both sides of the coin to keep the show fresh.

In the future I’ll just shorten the title to DMTC then the episode number. The idea is that I find so many fantastic stories that I can no longer fit them in the Show, especially given that I’m trying to trim the footprint of the show down to a more manageable 30 – 35 minutes as opposed to 45-50 like we had been doing. Trimming the extra 10 minutes off my show somehow created an extra 30 minutes of time to spend with my family for the last show… so go figure.
