Tonight’s show is a delayed version of yesterday’s lineup. I changed and tinkered with the stories a bit but overall it remains the same. With fevers chills and every other type of illness trying to harsh my mellow i wanted to get this show out, missed far too many these past few months.
Tonight we talk about tips for great coffee, demystifying marketing terms associated with coffee, the star wars kid, ways to redesign traffic lights, build your own transformer on the cheap and so much more. I wander, rant and lament about a slew of different things. Its a stuffy show, but someone had to do it. Apologies in advance for my voice.
I wanted to put the call out for anyone who wanted to get their feet wet with blogging, try a guest post every once in a while I’m looking at ways to make the blog and podcast better.
My time is over for recovering now its time to get back to work. A bit of a missed show from last time was due to exhaustion from the weekend activities. Consider this a bit of a State of the Podcast episode, we brush over how things are going on the back end very quickly and remind everyone to enter into the 3 in 3 contest, deadline is this Wednesday the 21st! Its a bit of a morose weekend here in Philadelphia, football team under preforming coldest air in quite some time and a massive project all put the damper on a nice weekend.
However today’s show is a testament to the pervasiveness of the content i cover, its not just that I have to do a show twice a week but i was to spread it out any farther The sheer volume of content would swamp me! We have a bit on the inauguration and how it relates to coffee of all things. We cover some of the silly kitchen products that are leaking their way to market and we hit, briefly on the top 3 stories of the last week.
So its been a bit since I’ve talked about Joost and this blog post is actually done from inside the program… Shhhh. I’m having a good old time watching Transformers, GI Joe, and Wallace and Gromit Shorts.
Overall I’m very pleased with the program and the quality of the entertainment coming through. I’m a hge hockey fan and actually got to see some hockey this season via joost as well, and not only the recent games i missed. How does the Game 7 1975 Stanley Cup Finals Grab you? well its pretty sweet for a boy from Philly to see it.
