When I found out that not only was there such a place called Nintendo World, but to have The Legend of Zelda journey on display, I was close to fainting. If you were unaware of Nintendo World, it is in New York City, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, to be exact. The whole display is set up on the second floor. Make sure to check it out, I know I am.

There is not one person who can say they have not played the game of Twister. It is a game that brings families and friends together…literally. You would never think that the game could be played on an Xbox360. Well, Twister is about to get a major makeover.

Majesco, who has had big hits such as Zumba Fitness and Cooking Mama, is bringing Twister to Xbox 360′s Kinect. However, it will be nothing like the actual game. There will be not mat and no spinner. So the question that comes to mind is, how do you play the game of Twister without the 2 most important pieces? ”This is using your full body as a game piece” said Christina Glorioso, Majesco’s chief marketing officer.

Twister Mania, the official name of the game for Kinect, will have 3 different modes, and 16 different ways to play the game. You can have up to 8 players at a time. The new version of the game brings so much more than just spin and contort. Twister Mania will be releasing sometime in November 1, 2011. Although Kinect games are becoming more and more popular, we will have to see how much success this will be. For $49.99, you will be able to enjoy the fun game of Twister Mania.

As a big fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise, I know that whenever Nintendo wants to celebrate one of the releases, something always turns into gold. The original Nintendo had the gold cartridge, Gameboy had the gold handheld GameBoy, N64 had the gold console with a gold controller. So it would only be right to celebrate 25 years by bringing out the gold.

As part of the 25th Anniversary of Legend of Zelda, Nintendo will be showing their celebration by releasing “Skyward Sword” with a special bundle pack. On November 20, along with the game, you could also get a gold Wii controller and a Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert music CD.

For $69.99, the 25th Anniversary bundle can be yours. If all you want is the game, it will be just $49.99. Personally, I might have to go the extra $20. You can also check out Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary website, and check out some the cool features.

We are still stuck between a dank spot and dry rot here in the cavern. Once more I had to delay actually fixing it back into a lair for another week. I’m really going to try and work out the bugs and get a new floor down. Living in disarray is bothering me something fierce. Entropy is real and its taking my house with it!

Gearboard takes a very common problem with modern gaming machines and hopes, at least the concept will take off. Everyone who dabbles in game systems has started to see the creep, game by game, peripheral by peripheral much more of our storage is being devoted to game specific pieces of hardware. Gearboard is an attempt to take these and put them on the wall out of the way. The only peripherals i don’t see fitting into this systems are the Dance Dance Revolution mats currently living under the couch in the CaffiNation Lair. What say you to peripheral creep and how you deal with it?

Netflix announced not too long ago that they would enable Media and Movie Streaming to the Wii. All of this is done via a disc which you need to get from Netflix for your wii. The disc has to be in the machine in order to watch a movie. Which is a bit of a pain. The Xbox 360 has a much nicer setup. Probably something to do with the agreement Netflix and Xbox have regarding movie streaming. But if you’re a Wii owner and a Netflix Subscriber this is the way to go. To get your disk be sure to sign up to get it delivered to your house as soon as they are available.

Tonights show has a good mix of both sections. We go from how social media is effecting change in earthquake ravaged regions of Haiti to talking about the Universities being forced to pull Kindles. On the lighter side we discuss the evils of flavored coffee, dirty decaf, and soe awesome eating utensils for kids.

Due to E3 happening this week there are a ton of news items floating around about video games in general i roll through a general discussion about a couple of things in the industry as well as take a look at some of the cooler announcements. We also look at lawnmowers, peek and Windows 7 and see whats trending in the world of Caffeine.

Overall the show is a bit front loaded, but no less awesome we are running today’s episode on a good deal of coffee, but what else is new? Like a Indy race this episode is open wheeled. I’m getting a little tired of the show note format i was using so i’m trying to go off the reservation a bit more with these episodes. Still delivering fresh and new content but not necessarily being tied down to one article on a topic.

Please let me know which style you prefer? Links galore, or freewheeling discussion. I’m probably going to stick with a mix for now.

Enjoy the show and Stay Caffeinated!

AP is biting the hand that feeds them and Linux starts an interesting ad campaign.

All these stories and more. We’re continuing our Adopt a NewB Day celebration with More blog design guides and quick tips for blogging, living digitally and managing your online presence.

In case you found this episode and you’re looking for how to do a 301 redirect Click here for a wonderful article on just that!

Despite naming the show after a web server filter, I decided today’s show would be a bit of a deviation from the norm, we have a lot of fun stories as always, but we also have a ton of geeky stories and book mentions. Today should have been called the literary edition due to the massive number of stories that pop up relating back to literature, so why not pick up a book or two and expand your horizons.

Be sure to listen in as we talk about the 3 in 3 contest right up front on the show!

Enjoy the Episode!
