Delayed taping but not dampened spirits

Switching to 11 pm eastern time for the live show is already paying off slacking dividends. It allows me enough time to actually research for the show last minute after the house calms down for the night. But always leave room for messups when dealing with computers! A truth that eluded me tonight.

One “Oh Poopy” erases ten “Atta boys”… this week in work has been rough. Trying to get new tech to work with old software is not even close to being the cat or its pajamas. But press on we must.

Tonights show has a good mix of both sections. We go from how social media is effecting change in earthquake ravaged regions of Haiti to talking about the Universities being forced to pull Kindles. On the lighter side we discuss the evils of flavored coffee, dirty decaf, and  some awesome eating utensils for kids.

The lair is in shambles… still. I need to get in gear and finish the jobs on the main part of the house before things get out of hand. Besides that things are going well as can be around here, we have a ton of great content to try and force upon you this evening, hopefully. Tonight we’re running on one engine and trying to bring the plane down safely this metaphor might not land at the right airport or even the correct city but by golly we’re gonna try. So I suffer from migraines from time to time. I’ve been through most medical treatments out there some work, others not so much. Mostly a ton of the latter and not to many of the former. They tend to come on stronger when I’m under stress, not saying things are stressful but just making conversation.Tonight’s show is overshadowed by one such migraine and my standard fix just isn’t working.

Despite working under a cloud, or fog as the case may be we managed to find some rather awesome and tasty links to share with the group. From Food tech to Lego Letter, Adobe and Apple to Hulu and the Wii, lots of tech, some fun flavors and as always great caffeinated links.

Due to E3 happening this week there are a ton of news items floating around about video games in general i roll through a general discussion about a couple of things in the industry as well as take a look at some of the cooler announcements. We also look at lawnmowers, peek and Windows 7 and see whats trending in the world of Caffeine.

Overall the show is a bit front loaded, but no less awesome we are running today’s episode on a good deal of coffee, but what else is new? Like a Indy race this episode is open wheeled. I’m getting a little tired of the show note format i was using so i’m trying to go off the reservation a bit more with these episodes. Still delivering fresh and new content but not necessarily being tied down to one article on a topic.

Please let me know which style you prefer? Links galore, or freewheeling discussion. I’m probably going to stick with a mix for now.
