You make a zombie, that’s what you do. And that is exactly what artist Donald Kennedy, an artist over at KodyKoala, did with his old gameboy. Other than the gameboy, he also used hands from a Iron Man Monger figure and feet from an Iron Man Mark I figure. With Halloween right around the corner, nothing gets the spirit going like carving a pumpkin. I know Paul is talented in carving a pumpkin, but I have not been granted that gift. However, nothing can beat the carvings by Ray Villafane, an artist for Villafane Studios. Some of his carvings are just amazing.

With a huge response to the trailer, LionsGate Entertainment has bought the rights to the video game fromDeep Silver, who published the game. In a statement released from LionsGate, they said, “This is exactly the type of property we’re looking to adapt at Lionsgate. It’s sophisticated, edgy, and a true elevation of a genre that we know and love.” Although it is still in the early stages of development, LionsGate has chosen Sean Davis, who has produced “Dazed and Confused”, “Tombstone”, and “The Mummy” series, will be producing this zombie movie. Zombie Ipsum: Frightful Filler for Your Damned DesignsPosted by Paul Muller in backchannel, DesignWay back when, you know in times of latin and stuff. Well at least before Times New Roman, and definitely before Helvetica, typographers had a problem. When they wanted to show someone a new typeface, or work out layout on a design people kept focusing on the content of the type on the page. So sometime in the 1600′s typographers and Proto Font Nerds threw down some Faux Latin, cobbled together pieces of an old manuscript () and created the first Lorem Ipsum. Now we know just how far down the road to damnation they lead us. Thoe misaligned words were actually part of the black speech and in 2011, after chants of Lorem Ipsum and its ilk have gone on for centuries, unfettered. They have given rise to the true language of the undead. Zombie Ipsum… now with 50% more brains! The Ad Agency Jung van Matt/Elbe while promoting 13th Street a German horror film channel developed these special zombie head bowling balls. Some even went to far as to use the holed for the balls into the design of the head itself. Thumb in a nostril anyone? These things look fantastic and the best part is the team promoting the festival travled around to differernt bowling alleys in Germany replacing the stock balls with these head cases. How awesome is that! Although word of caution no research has been done on what sticking your hand into a zombies mouth will do it the head has been cut off. i would steer clear of any ones with gaping maws. I would definitely try to use one of these things given the chance, how about you?

Sometimes the title says it all. This is one of those times. These sandals makes it look like you have the feet of the undead. Probably a great idea for a costume addition, not so good for a day at the beach, I mean come on those toes are in definite need of a Pedicure! Running at only 14.95, Zombies Sandal are to die for After all the talk we were doing about “Zombie Apocolypse”, I started thinking about what I would need to survive such an event. The first thing that came to mind was food. Who needs a weapon when you can run…zombies hate fast food. While looking through ThinkGeek.com, I found something that sounded delicious, Tactical Sammich. I was intrigued, so I decided to get one of each to try out (Pepperoni & Honey BBQ Beef). After trying both of them out, mixed emotions come into play. Now I know that they were not going to be like a full course meal in a hot pocket, but if I was going for one, it would be the Honey BBQ Beef. It wasn’t too bad. The bread was a little chewy, but who would complain when running from zombies. The plus side was that the inside was filled with beef. I can not say the same for the pepperoni. The bread was just as chewy as the other sammich, but it was the inside that gave disappointment. The next thing I had sent in was, of course, Stay Puft Marshmallows. The only thing special about these, other than the box it comes in, is that they are caffinated. I couldn’t wait to give these a shot. I was shocked to find out that they were not that bad.It tasted just like a marshmallow. You did taste the slight hint of caffeine, but they were pretty satisfying. They are a little pricey, $19.99 to be exact. But if you have a some cash to spend for yourself, give these marshmallows a try. Podcast: Play in new window | Download What is on tap for tonight?
