Podcasting from a Cave tonight

So I’m facing a problem i haven’t had to deal with since i was 17. I’ve had a migraine for over 5 days now. Not sure whats causing it but man alive if it hasn’t affected every thing I’m trying to do.

But that little fact can’t stop the awesome news and tech we have coming for you tonight. I have a heavy does of reality and honest to goodness real news to talk about from apple running at HTC to the importance of Adopt a Newb. You’ll need to listen to find out the particulars

Updated Stories, fantastic reviews and a well caffeinated evening

To say that I’m surprised would be an understatement. I honestly left the live show for dead over a year ago thinking that no one would ever come to watch a taping of my podcast let alone develope into any sort of community. Now i have people looking specifically for this, I’m both humbled that people enjoy it so much and pretty enthused about where we could go. So its going to snow again, philly averages 20 inches a year we have had 65, the last snow just finally started disappearing and tonight we try to add some more ice to the fire, what a crazy year this has been. Chances and forecasts are looking for 5 – 18 inches in my area depending on your impending doom cast…

A wonderful live show was interrupted by a kid-let waking in the middle of the show, and a house in disarray. Things got back on track but only after a hunt through the bowels of a spare parts box found the mystic universal power adapter. All hail the universal adapter. Only you can make this show work

SO apparently the snow and housework has taken a huge toll on my available energy. So the show has also had its worst month of episodic breaks in quite some time. I’ll make sure that this is the end of such shenanigans.

Any podcaster worth his salt or his shovel would have dug out and continued on. But apparently being stuck in the house for long periods of time with not much to do struck a cord in our family and we started a project. Hanging our new TV on the Wall, including cabling the beast behind the wall. If i felt comfortable that i Did it the right way I would have written it up as a wonderful how too, I still might. But this house is such that no good intended project goes unpunished.  So we’ll give you a rundown on that was well.

One step forward and two steps back.

The start of the semester is still in full swing in my office, from fixing plotters to reimaging computers we are busy as anything. All that work during the day, all that crazy busy schedule leaves me mentally drained by the end of the everything.

As it turns out the video portion of the Cruftcast should have been a lot smoother, but i haven’t had the energy to put into making it look right. There will be an episode up by wednesday, and hopefully a much shorter duration in between thereafter. Its all in the workflow, and I’ve been doing work in audio so long that my video skills are beyond rusty

It’s not easy, nothing is ever that easy

So the spring semester came in with a bang just now, i’m up to my eyeballs in work to do for the department and the only positive at this point is that i’m  making headway on a couple of huge problems. Learning is fun!

Live show, New Show!

Yesterday we passed our 4 year anniversary of going live to hard-drive. its been a fun ride so far, and tom commemorate the occasion i decided to start another podcast.
