It’s not easy, nothing is ever that easy

So the spring semester came in with a bang just now, i’m up to my eyeballs in work to do for the department and the only positive at this point is that i’m  making headway on a couple of huge problems. Learning is fun!

Tonight i decided to break out the shoehorn and figure just how many angles could fit on the head of a microphone. In short we have a ton of stuff to talk about and only one person to do the talking. So get ready for some fast paced action.

Live show, New Show!

With CES going on there is a ton of information flying about I’m trying to pick up the little but awesome content and relay it on to you. The problem with the tech news cycle is that much like so many other things in life its either feast or famine. Right now I’m pretty sure i missed a couple of courses somewhere.

The Holidays are upon us and th news continues to avalanche the feed reader

The holidays are here for some of our listeners, and a very happy Hanukkah to them. Tree day was here in our family yesterday so now there is a lovely smell of balsam in the house, a sweet pine smell than can only means a wintery mix of holiday fun and frenzy fast approaches. Voice should be back and we have some fun news appetizers

I hope we’re setting the table for the feast that lay ahead of many of our listeners. And hey if you’re not in the US there’s no reaso you can gorge yourself at dinner on Thursday either. As an added bonus i set up the studio in the caffination lair and gave live recording this episode a try. I liked the back and forth we had twith the people in the chat. After yet another way too quick weekend we find ourselves staring down the barrel of a work week. What better way to kick things off then with a Valentine’s Week Warm up.  Not some mushy, heart to heart talk with you the audience but rather just dealing exclusively in stories I know you’ll love. Cheesy? Yes! True? Also yes.

Today’s show has a couple of smaller themes within and a good balance between the caffeinated geeky sides to the coin. Fidelity makes a strong case for a resurgence of vinyl, a better way to listen and better ways to consume tech in general, Stick around for the caffeinated times as well, were we discuss a brand merger in the caffeinated world some gripes over starbucks, gift cards, and some interesting products all around. I can hear clearly now the cold is gone! The last vestiges of the cold that wouldn’t die are slowly leaving my body, but not without some crazy consequences, and some seriously lost time and momentum in my online world. I feel like i lost two weeks of my life here, still have the broken hand though.
