Form over Function Friday Whats your Coffee Clock

We’re back and having a blast!

Its been an up and down week, I know most people are ready for Friday so I’m bringing back a fan favorite. Form over Function Friday. These blog posts are dedicated to music I love, and doodles that happen while listening to it. Today’s post was partially inspired by twitter, in that every day I see people tweeting about coffee, and its not just me! Seriously just check out the update stream for coffee, its crazy. People need it, people want it. The silly ones are even giving it up! But more than that, if you are a coffee person you know there is a time of day when you need that second cup, for some it is sooner than others, mine is usually by 10 am at the latest.

Some people aren’t human until they’ve had coffee, You are reading a post by one such individual right now. To go even further, some of us rapidly descend back into that very same funk if continued Caffeination (That IS the correct spelling) is not provided.

Today’s art was all doodled last night rocking out to Matthew Ebel deep in the CaffiNation Lair. A little of Goodbye Planet Earth, and a little of Beer and Coffee, the man knows how to write some fantastic songs let me tell you. He is also an awesome guy to meet as well, you owe it to yourself to attend one of the sessions he gives at various Podcamps. Head on over to his lovely online home and partake of the Ebel-ness.

I’m working on a new office setup and finally found a bit of table I can keep free to sketch as I see fit. So with awesome Podsafe tunes in the background the drawing just started to flow. The idea came to my head that i started the day well Caffeinated and just seemed to fade into a dire set of circumstances, Hence the Bean into the Skull. New Favorite banner!

Well at least I’ve been able to sketch this week which I’ve been dieing to do, and i also have enough range of motion back in my hand to blog about other topics, adding to the Podcast with a little more value add on Fridays and beyond.
