After a small verbal miscue on the last show I mangled two words into a new fun one. So I figured it would be good to throw down a definition for the masses. That way if this word takes off then I get my due and proper. I feel that this fills a niche market for words, a little know fact the average size of persons vocabulary has decreased dramatically over the past centuries. Its time to fight back.
- Requently: adv An action or duty preformed with regular frequency.
- Requent: adj a common and or scheduled occurrence, usually referring to the closest temporal incidence
Examples:
- Adv: She requently attends meetings without preparing.
- Adj: At our most requent meeting Tom forgot to mention his retirement.
Now some may argue that the word recent would do nicely in that last sentence. I would however put forth that with the new word you not only get the fact that the meeting was a recent one, but you also get the inferred information that this is just the latest in a long line of the same type of meeting.
I open this up for discussion
